Even global superstars still need their mums — especially when it comes to feeding the people they love.
In episode five of Taylor Swift: The End of an Era, fans were treated to a tender backstage moment during the Eras Tour stop in Toronto, where Taylor casually asked her mum Andrea if she could prepare Travis Kelce’s favourite Thanksgiving dish.
“And can you make those big ribs for Travis?” Taylor smiled.
“I am making those ribs for Travis,” Andrea replied without hesitation.
Then came the nickname that melted fans everywhere.
“The ones he affectionately calls dinosaur bones,” Taylor revealed.
Laughing, Andrea added, “Texas-size ribs for a Texas-size man,” a playful nod to the 6’5” Chiefs star.
The conversation soon turned hilariously real when Andrea suggested spatchcocking the turkey — only for Taylor to remind her of a previous holiday disaster.
“Remember when we tried to fry one?”
“That was a disaster,” Andrea admitted. “We had an oil patch in the yard for six months… and the turkey was inedible.”
Thanksgiving 2024 was especially meaningful — it marked the first time Taylor and Travis celebrated the holiday together with both families. The Swifts hosted the Kelces in Nashville, including Jason Kelce, his wife and kids, turning the day into a full-blown family gathering filled with laughter, chaos, and of course… ribs.
For Taylor, the moment symbolized something deeper. In earlier episodes, she admitted how hard it used to be to balance love and life on tour — until Travis came along.
“I was never able to nurture both,” she said softly. “Now I can.”
From spatchcocked turkeys to dinosaur bone ribs, it’s clear — this love story isn’t just written in stadiums… it’s being built around the dinner table. ❤️
