Cat Deeley has been seen for the first time since announcing the end of her marriage to Patrick Kielty — and she wasn’t alone.
The 48-year-old This Morning host is currently on a summer break, with other ITV presenters filling in while she and co-host Ben Shephard are away.
From Marriage Shock to Summer Break
Late last month, Cat and Patrick revealed in a joint statement that they had decided to separate after 12 years of marriage.
“We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.”
The couple married in 2012 and share two sons — Milo, nine, and James, seven.
Dining in Spain — and No Wedding Ring in Sight
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Cat was spotted enjoying an evening out in Sitges, a coastal town just outside Barcelona, in the company of a male friend.
The former CD:UK presenter, known for her chic style, wore a halter-neck dress and golden sandals. Notably, she was not wearing her wedding ring.
Her companion was later identified as celebrity hairdresser Ben Skervin, who also posted about the trip on Instagram. According to a source, Cat looked “a bit down” and “not her usual spritely self” — understandable given her recent split — but she was warm and friendly with fellow diners, even chatting with British children at the restaurant.

On Instagram, Ben described their getaway as “an adventure” at the exclusive Soho House Little Beach House Barcelona:
“A few days of sun, sea, and sand. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious, and my room had a sea view — just perfect.”
Cat appeared in the comments, writing simply: “I love you x.”
Leaning on Friends
Those close to the TV star say she is surrounding herself with her nearest and dearest during this time. The restaurant where she was spotted is a favourite among celebrities and a place where her British accent didn’t go unnoticed.
