Freddy Brazier has bravely shared the emotional struggles in his relationship with his grandmother, Jackiey Budden, revealing how she deceived him over the years, ultimately leading him down a dark path of addiction. In a candid and heartfelt confession, Freddy also declared that he will never allow his daughter to meet her great-grandmother, emphasizing his desire to protect his child from the painful memories of his past. 
The 20-year-old, who is the son of the late Jade Goody, spoke about the role his grandmother played in his downward spiral, admitting that she had introduced him to drugs at the age of 12, which led to years of addiction. Freddy said, “My nan was definitely the person who not only introduced me to weed but got me hooked.” 
Freddy reflected on how the relationship with Jackiey had a significant impact on him, stating that he felt obligated to prioritize her well-being above everything else. “I feel like if I didn’t prioritize the relationship with my mum’s mum Jackiey… I was scared that if I wasn’t around, she’d kill herself. And I had that in my head for so long,” he explained.
This emotional burden led Freddy to distance himself from his father, Jeff Brazier, who expressed concern over Freddy’s well-being and took legal action to stop him from meeting with Jackiey. Despite the tension between father and son, Freddy has now openly discussed his struggles, including his time in rehab and his desire to make a fresh start. 
Now on a journey of recovery, Freddy declared his firm decision to protect his daughter from any potential harm caused by his grandmother. “I will never let my daughter meet her. I will keep her away from my nan, no matter what,” Freddy stated, underscoring his commitment to shielding his child from the painful experiences of his past.
