Gemma Collins made headlines at the Cheltenham races as she pocketed an astonishing £20,000, with £5,000 of it coming from a single £500 bet. The reality TV star, 45, was absolutely overjoyed after her horse, Meetmebythesea, took first place in the 2pm race, with odds of 9/1. 🎠

Celebrating her win with glasses of champagne in hand, Gemma threw her arms in the air in pure delight, exclaiming: “I’m f*ing loaded!”** as she strutted through the festival grounds. “I’m coming home with 20 large ones!” she added, as seen in a video from The Sun.

A source revealed: “Gemma was ecstatic and couldn’t stop showing off her winnings to James Nesbitt in the Paddy Power box. She made £20k that day – and £5k from just one £500 bet!”

Later, Gemma took to Instagram to flaunt her success, fanning herself with the wad of banknotes, set to Britney Spears’ “Work B*h”**. She wrote: “Had the best day ever! I’ve been so lucky today ☘️ @paddypowerofficial, thank you for all the luck ☘️ I absolutely smashed it today with the horse picks.”

The day was full of excitement as Gemma, wearing a plaid coat with fur cuffs, was joined by other A-listers. Georgia Toffolo, sporting a fun horse-shaped bag, was also in the spirit of the races. Gemma arrived in style by helicopter, sipping champagne, with a silk headscarf complementing her glamorous look. She proudly carried her Mulberry Bayswater bag and posed for the cameras, all while battling 40mph winds at the track. 🏇

The star-studded atmosphere continued with personalities like Danny Dyer in a stylish green suit, Peter Crouch donning a tweed cap, and football icons like Sir Alex Ferguson and Peter Crouch representing the sport world. The royal family was also in attendance, with Princess Anne, Zara Tindall, and Mike Tindall leading the charge. 👑
However, amid the glamour, there was an unexpected absence – Alan Brazil was notably missing from his talkSPORT breakfast show, as the station confirmed that the 66-year-old was unwell.
Meanwhile, Georgia Toffolo kept the festive vibe alive, donning an elegant ostrich feather scarf and looking sensational. Despite the joy and fun, it wasn’t all about the races for everyone. James Watt, Georgia’s husband, had a rough week, as his company BrewDog was sold for a fraction of its previous valuation, leading to job losses and financial struggles. 💔
Through it all, Gemma Collins’ win continues to be the talk of the Cheltenham Festival, as she relishes her moment in the spotlight.
