Strictly Come Dancing fans are buzzing after former contestant La Voix dropped tantalising hints that they could be stepping into the presenter role left vacant by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
The drag star, who wowed audiences alongside pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec last series and reached the iconic Blackpool Week before being forced to withdraw due to injury, has been teasing a hosting opportunity across social media.
Fans noticed a series of playful posts this week. La Voix shared photos out of drag outside the BBC studios, appeared on ITV’s Lorraine, and even wore a black t-shirt with “Tess” printed on it, tagging Tess Daly in the caption:
“T-shirt for today! Bringing smiles to rehearsal room.”
They also shared a petition calling for a potential co-hosting role alongside Emma Willis, fuelling speculation further. One fan on X commented:
“Ok, either La Voix will be involved with #StrictlyComeDancing this year or she’s MASSIVELY messing with us. The teasing on Instagram has been crazy!!”
The response from the Strictly community has been mixed. Some fans are hesitant:
“God forbid.”
“She’d be too big for the programme. She’s great but not the right host.”
Others are excited at the prospect:
“I would be here for this.”
“Everything crossed she is. Fingers crossed!”
With Tess and Claudia’s departures confirmed and no official replacements yet, all eyes are on La Voix as fans speculate whether the show is about to shake things up with one of its most flamboyant former stars.
