Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling have officially married in an intimate ceremony in the Cotswolds, with the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and other royals in attendance. The couple, Princess Anne’s son, 48, and his NHS nurse bride, 45, looked radiant as they sealed their vows with a kiss outside All Saints Church, surrounded by close family and around 300 well-wishers.
Harriet wore a stunning Emilia Wickstead gown paired with the Pragnell family tiara, a piece steeped in royal history and previously worn at coronations, while her daughters and Peter’s children from his previous marriage held her train. The wedding bouquet, designed by Millie Richardson, included traditional myrtle alongside sweet peas and lily of the valley, symbolizing love, peace, and family continuity. 
Guests included the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie with their husbands, and Peter’s immediate family. Notably absent were Prince Harry, who reportedly hasn’t spoken to Peter in years, and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, amid ongoing family controversies.
The couple’s daughters, along with Peter’s sister Zara and former wife Autumn Kelly, were present, highlighting the blending of family and the private nature of the ceremony. Following the service, Peter and Harriet exited under a white umbrella, waving to the crowd before leaving in a vintage Rolls Royce to a reception at Gatcombe Park, home to The Princess Royal.
The event, curated by Peregrine Armstrong-Jones of Bentley’s Entertainments, featured locally sourced, eco-conscious floral arrangements and a focus on family tradition. The wedding attracted royal enthusiasts from across the country, who gathered early despite intermittent rain to witness the historic union.
Harriet, a pediatric nurse and mother, has spoken openly about her faith guiding her through life’s challenges and her journey as a single parent prior to meeting Peter. Their engagement, announced in August 2025, featured a ring paying subtle tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
While Peter’s previous wedding to Autumn drew criticism for the sale of exclusive photos to Hello! magazine, no such arrangement was made for his marriage to Harriet, reflecting a more private and carefully managed celebration.
