Harry Redknapp, 79, took to social media to celebrate his wife Sandra’s 79th birthday with a heartfelt post. The former football manager shared a picture of the couple, beaming with happiness, and penned a simple yet touching tribute: “To my wife Sandra, happy birthday. You are my life.”
Fans were quick to respond, sending messages of admiration for the couple’s long-lasting love. One fan commented, “Such an amazing couple that teaches us so much about love, family, and compassion. Happy birthday Sandra!”

Others added, “Beautiful, gorgeous couple. Happy birthday to Sandra, enjoy your awesome day!” and “Harry, you’re such a top bloke, and the way you care for Sandra is so nice to see.”
Sandra’s son, footballer Jamie Redknapp, 52, also paid tribute to his mum, saying, “Happy birthday to my amazing mum. I love you so much, you’ve always been the best role model I could ask for.”

Harry and Sandra’s love story spans over decades. They first met as teenagers and married in 1968. Their son Jamie, who is now 52, was born after the couple tied the knot at Barking Abbey church, near their hometown.
The family celebration comes amidst Harry’s recent involvement in the drama surrounding the 2026 I’m A Celebrity All Stars series in South Africa. The show’s explosive finale saw Jimmy Bullard accuse Adam Thomas of being “abusive, aggressive, and intimidating,” after an alleged altercation last year. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Harry shared his thoughts on the conflict, describing it as a “big and quite a bad argument.”
He reflected on the tense atmosphere within the camp, mentioning how Adam appeared upset by frequent clashes with David Haye. “David seemed to be giving Adam lots of stick, and Adam spent a lot of time getting upset,” Harry said.
Harry, who won I’m A Celeb in 2018, also admitted that he couldn’t hear much of the drama unfolding in the camp due to his hearing aids, which he was unable to take into the jungle. “I couldn’t take them into camp because there was nowhere to charge them up,” he explained.
The I’m A Celeb drama was marked by walk-offs and arguments, with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly struggling to maintain control during the live finale, as Gemma Collins and Sinitta stormed off stage in fury.
Despite the chaos, Harry said hunger played a big role in the arguments. “You’ll always get that when people are living together and getting a bit hungry,” he said, but noted he personally avoided any major confrontations.
While the controversy surrounding I’m A Celeb continues, Harry and Sandra’s enduring love and celebration of their family stand as a reminder of the strength of their bond.
