Phillip Schofield has once again found himself at the centre of public attention after being spotted looking unsteady and unusually affectionate with a much younger male companion during a weekend outing in London.
The former This Morning presenter, 63, was seen emerging from a restaurant on Saturday afternoon appearing worse for wear, leaning heavily on London-based nurse Joshua Luke Sharman, 30. Onlookers watched as the pair stumbled onto the street together, sharing a series of intimate moments in full view of passers-by.
Witnesses said Phillip appeared to rely on his companion for balance as they made their way away from the venue. Dressed casually in a blue polo shirt and shorts, Joshua also seemed bleary-eyed, with the two men pausing repeatedly to embrace, cuddle and lean into one another — at one point appearing to nuzzle closely as they stood wrapped around each other.

Phillip publicly came out as gay in February 2020, but has largely withdrawn from public life since his dramatic exit from This Morning in 2023. His departure followed revelations of an affair with a much younger male runner — a relationship he later described as “unwise but not illegal”.
Since then, he has not confirmed any new romantic relationship. He also remains married to his wife Stephanie Lowe, whom he wed in 1993. At the time the affair became public, Stephanie was reported to be “devastated” and furious over Phillip’s deception. However, she ultimately chose not to file for divorce, with friends later claiming she did not want him to “fall any further” and that “the love is still very much there”.
