After seven years away from the cobbles, Helen Flanagan has officially declared she’s ready to return to Coronation Street — and fans are losing their minds with excitement.
The 35-year-old actress, beloved for her iconic role as Rosie Webster, first joined the soap back in 2000 as a young teen, grew up on-screen, and quickly became one of Weatherfield’s most recognisable faces. She remained on the show until 2012 before briefly reprising the role in 2017–2018.
Now, more than half a decade later, Helen is dropping the strongest hints yet that she wants to come home.

“I’d love to go back to Coronation Street, but they just haven’t asked me. I live around the corner, but they haven’t asked me. I’d come back if they asked me.”
Living just minutes from the Salford studios, she admits the timing couldn’t be more convenient. And she’s not just waiting for the call — she’s already imagined Rosie’s comeback storyline.
