Freddy Brazier has spoken publicly for the first time about the traumatic dog attack that left him seriously injured, revealing that his biggest fear isn’t the scars on his arm—it’s never seeing his beloved dog, Pablo, again.
The 21-year-old son of the late Jade Goody and TV presenter Jeff Brazier described the pocket bully as “like my son,” despite the animal leaving a deep wound in his arm and triggering a police investigation.
Now, with Pablo being held in police kennels and potentially facing destruction, Freddy says he is heartbroken.
A Terrifying Attack
The frightening incident happened when Freddy went to collect Pablo from the London home of his grandmother, Jackiey Budden.
What should have been a routine visit quickly turned into a nightmare.
Recalling the moment, Freddy explained that he suddenly lost all feeling in his right arm before noticing blood soaking through his tracksuit.
“I couldn’t feel anything in my right arm. Then I saw blood coming through my tracksuit. I looked down and there was a 3cm hole in my arm. It was terrifying.”

He was rushed for emergency medical treatment and later spent hours in hospital receiving stitches for the serious bite wound.
“I Don’t Want to Lose Him”
Despite the frightening ordeal, Freddy insists he doesn’t blame Pablo.
Instead, he is desperately hoping there is still a way to save the dog.
“I want my dog back.”
He admitted, however, that the chances appear slim.
His grandmother Jackiey has reportedly refused to have Pablo return to her home, while his father Jeff Brazier is also unwilling to keep the dog.
With nowhere for Pablo to go, the dog remains in police kennels as authorities investigate what happens next.
Freddy’s emotional words revealed just how strong their bond remains.
“I’ve never seen him as just my dog. He’s like my son. I’m probably never going to see him again.”
Second Attack in Just Days
The incident involving Freddy wasn’t the first warning sign.
According to reports, Pablo had already attacked Jackiey Budden just days earlier.
Neighbours reportedly heard screams coming from the property and called emergency services after the dog allegedly latched onto Jackiey, leaving her injured and requiring medical treatment.
Police and firefighters attended that incident but no criminal action was taken.
Only a few days later, Pablo attacked again—this time injuring both Freddy and Jackiey.
Sources claim Jackiey was hurt while trying to pull the dog away from her grandson.
Hospital Treatment
Freddy initially attended hospital immediately after the attack but reportedly left because of long waiting times.
However, the severity of the injuries forced him to return the following day, where doctors treated the deep bite wound.
Family friends described the past week as “absolutely devastating,” saying Freddy has been left emotionally shattered because Pablo has been such an important part of his life.
A Dog That Changed His Life
Freddy has never hidden how much dogs mean to him.
Last year, while volunteering at a London dog daycare centre, he openly admitted he actually preferred spending time with dogs over people.
Posting photographs surrounded by puppies, he wrote:
“People are draining. Dogs are healing.”
