Jack Whitehall’s mother, Hilary, was left seething just days before his highly anticipated wedding to model Roxy Horner, after a massive dress code blunder left her in a fashion crisis. The 37-year-old comedian had previously provided his mother with wedding dress instructions several weeks ago, only for Hilary to discover the dress code on her invitation was completely different! 
Hilary shared her frustration, explaining, “When I asked Jack what the dress code was several weeks ago… he gave me the wrong one. I got the wrong dress, and then the invitation arrived with a completely different dress code on it. Jack said, ‘Sorry about that, Mumsy.'” 
The wedding preparations are in full swing, with the bride-to-be, Roxy, sharing a loving kiss with Jack before heading to the wedding venue, and the bridal gown already being loaded into the awaiting taxi. Meanwhile, Roxy kept it casual but chic in a white T-shirt, jeans, and a baseball cap, looking every bit the excited bride-to-be. Jack, sporting a beige jumper and black jeans, looked both nervous and excited as he helped load the wedding essentials, including his daughter Elsie’s pram. 
The hiccup over the dress code isn’t the only family drama surrounding the couple’s wedding preparations. Just weeks ago, Roxy enjoyed a fun-filled hen do in London, complete with karaoke, private dinners, and a lap dance from a Magic Mike stripper. Hilary also joined in the fun, donning a pink sequin blazer for the wild celebrations.
Roxy made sure to add a personal touch to her hen party, gifting her bridesmaids with matching pyjamas and ‘Marriage Material’ gift bags, while her hotel room was adorned with ‘Marriage Material’ silver balloons. Despite the earlier mishap with the dress code, Hilary seemed to be enjoying herself at the event.
As the wedding day approaches, the couple, who became parents to daughter Elsie in 2024, continue to share glimpses of their wedding plans. Jack’s recent stag do, meanwhile, was filled with his celebrity pals, including James Corden and Jamie Redknapp, and some fun-filled antics, with Jack recalling his wild night out and his “patchy” memory of the events, all of which were reported by the Daily Mail.
With all the drama, it’s clear the Whitehall-Horner wedding will be one for the books!
