“I’m Part of the Family” – Hoda’s Support During Savannah’s Heartbreak

Hoda, who has been co-anchoring the show with Craig Melvin since February 6, stepped back into the role of a supportive family member rather than a TV host. Speaking emotionally on February 9, Hoda reflected, “We always talk about our show as a family. We are a family. I’m part of the family. I’m happy to be with you because we show up for each other.”

Since Savannah’s mother went missing, Hoda has been right by her side, showing unwavering support. The Today team, too, has been demonstrating solidarity, with yellow ribbons and flowers adorning Studio 1A in a heartfelt tribute to Nancy, after similar gestures were made by the Tucson community where Nancy lived.Savannah Guthrie and More Share Tribute to Hoda Kotb on Her Last Day at 'Today'

The Search for Nancy Guthrie: New Leads and Ongoing Hope

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen on January 31 after having dinner with her family. She was reported missing the following day when she failed to attend a virtual church service. The search for her has intensified, with new details emerging each day.

In a video posted on February 24, Savannah shared an emotional message, explaining how the family continues to hold on to hope while also acknowledging the reality that Nancy may no longer be with them. “We fear for her, ache for her, and most of all just miss her,” Savannah said. “But we need to know where she is. We need her to come home.”

In an effort to bring Nancy home, the Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for any information that could lead to her recovery. Additionally, the family has donated $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The FBI has also joined the search with a $100,000 reward for information leading to Nancy’s whereabouts. Despite releasing footage of a masked intruder near Nancy’s home, authorities have yet to identify a suspect.

The Mystery Deepens: Sheriff Calls It a Kidnapping

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has stated that the evidence points to a possible kidnapping rather than a random act of violence. “This is somebody who’s disappeared from the face of the earth,” Nanos explained, referring to the masked intruder captured on camera. “The motivation for it is where we get stuck… Is it for money, or is it for revenge?”

As the search for Nancy Guthrie continues, the Guthrie family remains strong, holding onto hope that the truth will eventually come to light. “We’re believing in miracles,” Savannah said, with the nation rallying behind her in this difficult time.
