Former This Morning host Holly Willoughby is gearing up for a major screen return, with reports claiming her new YouTube lifestyle series could shake up daytime TV.
The 45-year-old presenter, who stepped away from ITV in 2023 following a terrifying kidnap plot and controversies alongside her former co-host Phillip Schofield, has since appeared on shows including Dancing On Ice. But now, insiders say Holly is preparing something completely different – and it could premiere in just days.
According to The Sun, Holly’s upcoming series, titled Together, will be a magazine-style show reminiscent of This Morning – but streamed online via YouTube. The move aligns with the trend of top TV stars going digital to reach younger audiences, following in the footsteps of Ant and Dec.
The project is reportedly backed by her husband Dan Baldwin’s production company, Hungry Bear Media, known for hits such as Gladiators and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show. A source told the Daily Mail: “This is a massive game-changer for Holly. Her show and channel will be a real threat to the traditional broadcasters, particularly This Morning and ITV. If any presenter is ideal for this, it’s Holly.”
Holly has already begun on-camera rehearsals for the four-week YouTube run. The series is expected to launch just as hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard take their summer break from This Morning, giving Holly a prime window to attract viewers.
In addition, Hungry Bear Media has advertised for a video editor to help produce “high-performance long-form content” for the series, signaling the production’s ambition.
Fans can expect Holly to bring her signature warmth and charm to the digital platform, blending lifestyle content with her unmistakable personality. With her return set to coincide with the quieter summer schedule on ITV, Together could mark a bold new chapter in Holly’s career – and a shake-up for traditional daytime TV.
