I’m A Celebrity’s New Spin-Off Reportedly Lands Its First Big Names – And Fans Already Love the Pairing

A brand-new chapter of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! could be about to get a lot more exciting.
According to new reports, Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy have become the first celebrities to sign up for ITV’s highly anticipated I’m A Celebrity spin-off, giving fans an early glimpse of what promises to be one of the broadcaster’s biggest reality launches.
A Fresh Twist on the Iconic Show
The special series is being created to celebrate 25 years of I’m A Celebrity, but this time the format is getting a major makeover.
Instead of heading into the Australian jungle, contestants will reportedly take on the breathtaking yet unforgiving wilderness of Canada, where they’ll face demanding survival challenges in pairs rather than competing individually.
The new concept is expected to test not only physical endurance but also friendships, as teammates must live, work and complete terrifying trials together.
A source previously told The Sun:

“This has all been very hush-hush, but everyone involved is really excited to get cracking with filming.

“The scenery will be stunning and the action explosive. Imagine the tension of two stars paired together, forced to eat, sleep, breathe and work together in constant near proximity.”Ant and Dec on I'm A Celebrity Ant and Dec are fronting a new version of the show (Credit: ITV)

Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy Reportedly First to Sign
Now, The Sun reports that longtime friends Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy have agreed to take part in the new adventure.
The former Boyzone bandmates are said to have signed a lucrative deal ahead of filming, which is reportedly scheduled to begin in September.
According to the publication, ITV bosses believe the pair’s natural chemistry, humour and mischievous personalities will make them standout contestants.
An insider claimed:

“Bosses are delighted that Keith and Brian will be taking part; they’ll each bring a lot of fun and mischief to the camp.”

The source also suggested that producers are hoping to cast more celebrity duos, while some contestants could even compete alongside a non-famous partner or family member.Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy Brian and Keith are reportedly doing the show (Credit: Splash News)
A Completely Different Kind of Competition
Unlike the traditional jungle series, the new format is expected to focus on teamwork before eventually crowning a single winning pair.
Contestants will reportedly tackle gruelling outdoor challenges across Canada’s dramatic landscapes while battling for food, supplies and survival.
If the reports prove accurate, viewers can expect plenty of laughs, arguments, emotional moments and unexpected twists as famous duos are pushed to their limits.
ITV Yet to Confirm the Cast
At the time of writing, ITV has not officially confirmed the show’s line-up or Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy’s involvement.
However, with filming reportedly due to begin later this year, fans may not have long to wait before the first official announcements are made.
If the rumours are true, the popular duo could be the perfect pair to kick off what looks set to be one of I’m A Celebrity’s biggest format changes in its 25-year history.
