After weeks of uncertainty, Loose Women and Lorraine are finally returning to our screens—much to the relief of their loyal fans! With ITV cutting back on their schedules, the iconic daytime shows had been temporarily pulled off air. But now, the wait is over!
Loose Women will be back from its spring break on April 27 at 1:30 pm, followed by Lorraine’s grand return a week later on May 4 at 9:30 am.
But it’s not just about the return dates—these shows are facing massive changes. Both programs will now air seasonally, meaning we’ll get only 30 weeks a year of our favourite daytime chat! This has led to concerns over the future of these beloved shows, which have been drastically reduced in episodes following ITV’s cuts.
Loose Women fans can expect to see Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan, Nadia Sawalha, and Jane Moore leading the panel when the show returns. Meanwhile, Lorraine Kelly has also had to adjust to the new ITV schedule, with her iconic show cut down to just 30 minutes—a major blow for the star who has worked in daytime TV for decades. Lorraine has openly admitted how difficult it’s been adjusting to her new, shorter working hours, saying: “I never take it for granted, and I really, really appreciate you tuning in.”
While Lorraine has faced challenges with the changes at ITV, Loose Women and Lorraine fans are hoping this is just a temporary bump in the road, and we can expect these legendary shows to keep delivering the gossip and drama we all love.
Will the new shorter seasons change the shows forever, or will they adapt and thrive? Only time will tell. But for now, mark your calendars—Loose Women and Lorraine are back, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎉
