Binky Felstead’s beloved mother Jane has been rushed to hospital following a frightening fall that left the 74-year-old with severe bruising and blood visible around her head and face.
Yet despite the alarming scenes, the woman affectionately known to fans as “Mummy Felstead” appeared determined to keep her trademark sense of humour intact.
Speaking from her hospital bed while doctors prepared to carry out further checks, Jane delivered a characteristically defiant message to her family.
“I’ve pulled through again,” she declared, before adding that although there was “plenty wrong” with her, she was ready to “fight another day”.
The emotional update was shared by her daughter Binky, who filmed a brief conversation with her mother as they waited for doctors.

Footage from the hospital showed Jane lying in bed with her head supported to prevent unnecessary movement while she awaited medical assessment.
Her face appeared heavily bruised, with dried blood visible around the side of her head — a striking image that understandably prompted concern among followers.

“I’d like to say to my family, here I am, I’ve pulled through again,” she said.
“There’s nothing wrong with me. There’s plenty wrong with me, but I’ll fight another day.”

Binky joked that her mother had announced she wanted a glass of champagne later that evening — an idea that apparently did not receive much enthusiasm from the ambulance crew.
