The Disastrous TV Interview
The couple, who tied the knot in January, were expected to appear together on Good Morning Britain for their first joint interview. However, Lee failed to show up, leaving Katie to appear on the ITV daytime show solo. Katie revealed that Lee had missed his flight due to business commitments, but he later took to social media to deny claims that he was detained. 
Katie, however, expressed her frustration, saying, “He made me look like a dk, and he made himself look like a massive dk.”
The Growing Tension
Katie’s sister, Sophie, suggested that Lee was “mugging her off,” which only added to Katie’s growing feelings of betrayal. “It’s like a soap opera—‘Is he coming? Isn’t he?’” Katie said. She went on to explain that if Lee had made the effort to come to the UK, it would have shut down all the rumors surrounding his absence.

Things took a turn when Lee was caught lying about his whereabouts. He claimed to be traveling from Muscat, yet a video revealed he was actually in a Dubai airport terminal. Katie admitted, “It does look weird that you haven’t come to England, and I keep going to Dubai.” 
Katie has made it clear that she wants Lee to come to the UK to end the speculation. “If he doesn’t come, there’s obviously something not right going on,” she said, adding that she had confronted him about it.
