Reality TV favourites Ollie Locke and Gareth Locke were dramatically evicted from their £4million London townhouse on Wednesday, after failing to settle a £25,000 rent bill — a debt that sources say remains unpaid.
The Made In Chelsea stars were seen packing up their lives as a removal van loaded their belongings, marking a sobering end to their time in the plush four-bedroom, four-bathroom property close to the affluent King’s Road.
The outstanding £25,000 is understood to cover three months’ rent plus additional penalties. The couple were reportedly ordered to vacate the home after missing a final deadline to clear arrears and outstanding costs by January 3.
Despite the upheaval, Ollie, 38, appeared determined to put on a brave front, chatting with movers and documenting the moment on his phone, while Gareth, 37, looked visibly strained as boxes were carried from the property.
The pair, who share two-year-old twins born via surrogate in July 2023, enlisted Davis And Mac — a celebrity-favoured removal firm that recently helped Emily Atack relocate to her new country home. It remains unclear whether Ollie and Gareth paid for the service.
Sources claim the couple are now facing a serious financial reckoning, with insiders warning they could be at risk of bankruptcy if the situation worsens.
Adding another troubling layer to the saga, it has emerged that a tenant living in the property paid her rent directly to Ollie and Gareth — only to later discover the money had allegedly not been passed on to the landlord. She is now said to fear financial fallout, despite having paid on time every month.
The tenant reportedly believed her rent was being used instead to help finance what sources described as the couple’s “luxury lifestyle”.
Ollie and Gareth have rented the Chelsea property since 2023 and frequently showcased the stylish navy-and-cream interiors on their YouTube series Our Daddy Diaries, offering fans a glossy glimpse into family life in one of London’s most exclusive postcodes.
But behind the scenes, insiders claim the pair had been struggling to meet monthly rent payments for nearly a year — even as they continued to project an image of high-end living.
A source told the Daily Mail:
“Ollie and Gareth live in one of London’s wealthiest areas, just moments from the King’s Road, yet they’ve been enjoying Caribbean holidays and dining at places like Scott’s, where prices can be eye-watering.
“They missed three months of rent and were warned repeatedly that they were breaching their contract. A final deadline of January 30 was set — but the payments were never made.”
According to insiders, the situation came to a head earlier this month when the couple were informed that their eviction, scheduled for March 2, was imminent — on the very same day they reportedly jetted off to Barbados on a complimentary Caribbean cruise with TOWIE star Lydia Bright.
The holiday, paid for by P&O Cruises, was widely shared on Instagram and promoted as part of a brand partnership.
Over the past year, Ollie and Gareth have also continued to attend red-carpet events, including the BAFTA TV Awards and the Pride of Britain Awards, often appearing in coordinated suits and tuxedos.
A source close to the couple sought to downplay the drama, telling the Daily Mail:
“This is a sad case of friends falling out and a difference of opinion that escalated. It’s upsetting for everyone involved, but it’s being resolved.”
They added:
“Ollie and Gareth had become close friends with their tenant — she’s even godmother to their children. The relationship turned sour, but they are doing their best to repay what they owe and start again in a new home.”
The townhouse they were forced to leave boasts four bedrooms, four bathrooms — including two en-suites — a private cinema room and a leafy garden, making the eviction all the more jarring.
The couple married in November 2020 at London’s Natural History Museum, becoming the first same-sex couple to wed at the iconic venue. Their ceremony was filmed for Made In Chelsea, with co-stars Binky Felstead and Olivia Bentley acting as bridesmaids.
Ollie has been part of Made In Chelsea since its launch in 2011 and was one of the first reality stars to come out on television. He later appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 and Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls in 2016.
The Daily Mail has contacted Ollie’s representatives and the couple’s spokesperson for comment.
For now, what was once a carefully curated image of Chelsea luxury has been replaced by cardboard boxes, unanswered questions — and a very public exit.
