Kelly Ripa’s household just got a little bigger — and a whole lot cuter. The beloved TV host and her husband, Mark Consuelos, have welcomed an unexpected new addition to their family: a rescue puppy who has already stolen Kelly’s heart. 
The furry newcomer wasn’t part of any plan. According to Kelly, it all started when Mark stumbled upon an abandoned pup in need of a home. Instead of walking away, the actor scooped him up and brought him straight back to Kelly — knowing she wouldn’t be able to resist.
And he was right. Within minutes, Kelly was smitten. “It was love at first sight,” she gushed, introducing the puppy to fans on social media. The couple revealed that Kelly even chose to name the dog after her husband — a sweet yet cheeky nod that instantly melted hearts.
But while Kelly is overjoyed, Mark is taking it all with his trademark humor. The Riverdale star admitted he’s starting to feel like “the third wheel” in his own marriage. “I think I might have competition now,” he joked, confessing he’s a little jealous of all the kisses, cuddles, and attention Kelly has been giving the newest “man” in her life. 
Still, the playful rivalry hasn’t stopped Mark from doting on the pup himself. The Consuelos-Ripa household has been buzzing with joy as the dog explores his new forever home — running through the garden, curling up on the couch, and already becoming the star of the family group chat.
Fans flooded Kelly’s Instagram with love and congratulations, praising the couple for rescuing instead of buying. “He’s already the luckiest dog in the world,” one follower wrote. Another commented, “Kelly naming him after Mark is the funniest and sweetest thing ever!”
