Millie Brady has officially entered a brand-new chapter — and she did it in breathtaking countryside style.
The 32-year-old actress, best known to Netflix viewers for her roles in The Last Kingdom and The Queen’s Gambit, has married nightlife executive Rory MacInnes, 34, in a romantic English wedding that looked every inch like a scene from a classic period drama.
The couple exchanged vows last weekend in a beautiful countryside ceremony surrounded by friends, family and a handful of familiar celebrity faces. Millie later gave fans a glimpse inside the magical celebration on Instagram, sharing intimate moments from the day — including her stunning bridal look, the couple’s joyful confetti walk, and their elegant wedding cake.

After saying “I do,” the newlyweds were showered with golden confetti as they walked back up the aisle as husband and wife. The couple later made their grand exit from the church in a vintage pale blue car — a picture-perfect ending to a ceremony filled with old-school romance.
Millie appeared overjoyed as she shared one simple but emotional update with fans: “A WIFE,” she wrote on Instagram, adding a string of heart emojis.
The celebrations continued under a beautifully decorated marquee, complete with colourful bunting and a relaxed countryside atmosphere. Among the guests were Millie’s Pride and Prejudice and Zombies co-star Douglas Booth and his actress wife Bel Powley.
One playful photo showed Millie posing in a photobooth with Douglas, Bel and a friend, wearing oversized pink sunglasses as she embraced the fun side of the celebration.
The newlyweds also shared a sweet moment as they cut into their elegant white wedding cake, which was decorated with delicate piped frosting and fresh flowers.
Millie’s wedding comes years after she found herself at the centre of intense fan speculation over a rumoured romance with Harry Styles.
The actress was linked to the former One Direction star in 2013, during the height of the band’s global fame, after they reportedly met at a BRIT Awards after-party in London. At the time, the rumours quickly caught the attention of One Direction fans around the world, with many convinced the pair were quietly dating.
However, the speculation was short-lived. A source close to Millie later claimed that the pair never actually dated and had simply met during a night out with friends.
Harry, now 32, has since been connected to several high-profile women, including Taylor Swift, Kendall Jenner and Olivia Wilde. His relationship with Olivia began after they worked together on the 2022 film Don’t Worry Darling, with their age gap becoming a major talking point among fans.
More recently, Harry has reportedly become engaged to actress Zoë Kravitz, 37, after the pair were first spotted together in Rome last year. Zoë, the daughter of music icon Lenny Kravitz and actress Lisa Bonet, has also been seen wearing a large diamond ring, fuelling further speculation about the couple’s future.
But for Millie, the focus is now firmly on her own love story.
The actress has built an impressive career on screen, playing Lady Aethelflaed in Netflix’s historical drama The Last Kingdom and appearing alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in The Queen’s Gambit. She has also continued to maintain a relatively private personal life, making her wedding update all the more special for fans.
Rory, meanwhile, has carved out his own successful path in the events and nightlife industry. His company, XCEED, works with major venues and clubs, helping power ticketing, guest lists and nightlife experiences across some of Europe’s biggest party destinations.
Their wedding blended glamour, intimacy and countryside charm — from the lace gown and floral cake to the vintage car and celebrity guests.
And while Millie may once have been the subject of global fan curiosity because of her rumoured connection to Harry Styles, this weekend was entirely about her own fairytale ending.
With one joyful post, one unforgettable gown and one emotional walk through golden confetti, Millie Brady made it clear: she is no longer part of a rumour — she is a wife.
