In the emotional interview, Savannah also revealed how, every night, she wakes up and relives the anguish of her mother’s abduction. “In the darkness, I imagine her terror. And it is unthinkable, but those thoughts demand to be thought. And I will not hide my face. But she needs to come home now,” she added.
The full interview with Savannah will air in two parts on TODAY, Thursday, March 26, and Friday, March 27.
Savannah has been by her family’s side in Arizona, as the search for her 84-year-old mother continues. The FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department are working tirelessly, following leads and investigating thousands of tips. Investigators are especially focusing on an armed and masked man seen on doorbell cameras outside Nancy’s home the night she went missing.
The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for Nancy’s safe return, with the FBI offering an additional $100,000 for any helpful information. Authorities are urging anyone with tips to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
As the investigation stretches into its eighth week, Savannah holds onto hope, reminding the public of her enduring faith. “I still believe,” she said, as she continues to fight for the return of her mother.
