Scarlett Moffatt has delighted fans after revealing she is expecting another baby boy in a heartwarming family update alongside fiancé Scott Dobinson and their son Jude.
The former Gogglebox star, 35, shared the joyful news in a series of stunning new photos, confirming that her second child will be a boy — a moment she described as deeply emotional and “exactly what she had hoped for”.
“I was born to be a boy mum,” Scarlett said, beaming as she opened up about the moment she and Scott learned the gender during a scan attended by their young son Jude.
“We were all holding hands when the sonographer told us. I couldn’t stop smiling,” she added, describing the experience as “pure happiness” for the whole family.
Scarlett, who already shares son Jude with Scott, said she has always imagined her boys growing up together and forming a strong bond.
“I’m so excited for Jude to have a little brother,” she said. “All my family knew I really wanted another boy so they could grow up side by side.”
While she acknowledged that “a healthy baby is all that matters”, Scarlett admitted she personally felt a strong connection to the idea of raising two boys together.
Behind the joyful announcement, however, Scarlett also opened up about a much more painful chapter in her journey to motherhood.
The TV personality revealed she suffered a “heartbreaking” miscarriage last year, a loss she previously described as “soul-destroying” and one that made her question whether she could go through pregnancy again.
“There was a time I genuinely thought we might stop trying,” she admitted in a past interview. “The heartbreak felt like too much.”
The couple had even given away baby items after the loss, believing their journey to expand their family might be over.
But just weeks later, they received the news that Scarlett was pregnant again — a moment she described as “unbelievable” and deeply emotional for both of them.
Now, with another baby boy on the way, Scarlett says she is focused on creating a balanced and loving home for both children, ensuring her son Jude never feels left out when the new baby arrives.
“I just want everything to feel fair for them,” she said. “Jude is so loving, and I want him to always feel secure.”
She also shared that her family and Scott’s parents have been a huge source of support throughout the pregnancy, calling them “an incredible village” helping her prepare for the next chapter.
Scott, whom Scarlett has known for more than 15 years, was praised by the star as an “amazing dad” and constant support through both the highs and lows of her pregnancy journey.
Despite the challenges, Scarlett says she feels grateful for every moment — even the difficult ones.
“This pregnancy has been intense,” she admitted. “But I feel lucky. It’s a privilege to go through it all again.”
As the couple prepare for life as a family of four, Scarlett hinted she may not be done growing their family just yet, saying she would “love more children if life allows it”.
For now, though, the focus is on welcoming baby boy number two — and enjoying the happiness she says she once feared she might not get again 💙
