Sinitta has finally addressed the brewing feud with TOWIE star Gemma Collins after Gemma reportedly accused her of being a “rat” and leaking WhatsApp stories about her. The former I’m A Celebrity campmate, 62, is said to have been left “dumbfounded and upset” by the accusation.
The tension started when Gemma, 45, allegedly accused Sinitta of betraying her by sharing private conversations from their I’m A Celebrity All Stars WhatsApp group with the press. The fallout from these claims has already caused drama ahead of the show’s return on April 6.
Sinitta responded firmly to the accusation, stating, “I’ve been accused of being the rat who’s been selling the WhatsApp stories… the only rat amongst us were those in the jungle.” She added, “Gemma might be suffering a little hallucinogenically from all the, er, animal scrotums.”
The claims came as a shock to Sinitta, who was reportedly hurt by the allegations, with a source telling The Sun that she was “incredibly upset” and bewildered by Gemma’s words. The source also revealed that the tension has caused unease among the cast, with others fearing they may also be targeted next for leaking group chats.
The I’m A Celebrity spin-off, featuring an all-star cast, will return to screens on April 6, but the drama surrounding Sinitta and Gemma is already heating up. The two stars have a long history with the show, as Gemma famously quit the competition after just 72 hours in 2014, while Sinitta competed in 2011.
With the feud already causing ripples, fans are eagerly awaiting the new season of I’m A Celebrity All Stars to see how the tension plays out on-screen.
