Spencer Matthews has shared exciting news for fans: he and Vogue Williams are planning to welcome a fifth child. The former Made In Chelsea star, 37, revealed that while they are already parents to three children — sons Theodore, eight, Otto, four, and daughter Gigi, six — the couple has no plans to stop at four.

“I like the sound of baby number five,” Spencer told Closer Magazine. “Vogue’s Irish, you see. It won’t be too long before she wants a fifth. I’m sure of it. I can’t wait!”
Spencer also spoke about the practical side of raising a large family. The couple relies on nannies to help manage childcare alongside their busy professional schedules, ensuring that each child gets the attention and care they deserve. “Yes to nannies. We both work full time, so thankfully we do have the help,” he said.
The news comes after Vogue, 40, bravely opened up about the heartbreak she has endured with previous miscarriages. Speaking on the Great Company podcast with Jamie Laing, Vogue described how she felt her body had “failed” her after experiencing two miscarriages before conceiving their fourth child. “You just feel like your whole body has failed you and you’re on your own,” she said.
Vogue emphasized the importance of learning from others’ experiences. “I realized it happens to so many women. The reason I spoke about it was because when it happened to me, I saw so many other women talk about it, and I was like, okay, it’s literally every second woman,” she said.
Despite the emotional toll, Vogue remains positive about pregnancy and childbirth. “I look forward to giving birth, I have to say,” she explained. “If I could skip the pregnancy part, I’d give birth 10 times instead. Everyone is so nice to you when you’re giving birth.”
The couple’s journey has not been without obstacles. Vogue revealed that her first miscarriage occurred around four weeks, before they had any scans, and the loss was emotionally devastating. Last year, another pregnancy ended heartbreakingly after a 12-week scan revealed the embryo had not grown. She described feeling “embarrassed” and “upset,” yet credited Chelsea and Westminster NHS staff for their compassionate care.
Spencer shared that despite these challenges, they feel fortunate to have their three children and that this new baby represents another chance to grow their family. “We’re so happy. We feel very… hard this time round to get to where we wanted. Definitely more bumps in the road to actually get pregnant, but we feel very fortunate anyway,” he said.
Their openness about the difficulties they’ve faced resonates deeply with fans, who admire the couple’s resilience, transparency, and commitment to family. The Matthews-Williams household continues to thrive, balancing the joys of parenthood with the realities of overcoming past heartbreaks, and now eagerly looking forward to the arrival of their fifth child.
