💃 Big changes are coming to Strictly Come Dancing 2026—and Emma Willis isn’t hiding her nerves! The BBC favourite will join Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe as the new presenting trio, replacing legendary hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
Speaking on BBC Radio 2, Emma admitted the pressure of stepping into such a high-profile role is intense.
“A few things I’ve read recently… people are saying, ‘The chemistry was off the charts.’ I’m like, don’t set it that far! Start there,” she confessed.
“I keep going, ‘Yeah, thanks’ and they’re like, ‘Are you excited?’ I’m like, ‘I’m terrified.’” 😅
Despite the jitters, she’s excited for the experience, promising viewers a fun-packed new season. Josh agreed, noting just how massive the show is behind the scenes:
“You don’t realise how huge it is until you’re involved… everyone in the street talks about it!”
The countdown to the new series is already underway, with stars like Chris Appleton, Lacey Turner, Delta Goodrem, and Dani Dyer confirmed to join the ballroom. Fans can expect drama, glamour, and a fresh energy with Emma, Josh, and Johannes at the helm.
✨ The new era of Strictly is almost here—can the new trio live up to the legends?
