ABC’s The View erupted in a heated debate on Monday as Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin clashed with co-hosts Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sara Haines over Mark Cuban’s new partnership with President Trump’s TrumpRx.gov marketplace, which offers prescription and generic drugs at lower prices. 
Behar, making her stance clear, said, “You lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas,” expressing concern over any venture associated with Trump. Hostin agreed, adding that Americans shouldn’t trust ventures tied to the former president’s name. Behar continued, “I like Mark Cuban, I’ve always liked him. But this is a mistake and once Trump puts his name on prescriptions, we’re all gonna die.”
Griffin defended the initiative, clarifying that the drugs themselves do not bear Trump’s name and highlighting the cost savings she experienced during her IVF treatment. “The average family, a third of Americans, cut back on essential food and utilities to be able to cover their prescription drug costs. You’re not gonna convince me that just because Trump is involved, we should ignore cheaper prescription options,” she argued.
Hostin and Behar remained skeptical. “If Trump is gonna make a profit from it, don’t take it,” Behar quipped. “He is not doing this out of the goodness of his heart. He’s doing it to make money,” Hostin added.
The debate reached a peak when Behar admonished Griffin and Haines, saying, “You are so naive, the two of you.” Griffin responded, emphasizing the urgency for Americans to access affordable medication, despite the political affiliation.
Whoopi Goldberg intervened to moderate, noting that the controversy centered on Trump’s name rather than the drugs themselves. “If it had been Mark Cuban’s name on it, we would not be having this discussion,” she said. Griffin concluded, reinforcing that these are trusted medications and Americans should not be hesitant to access them.
