Tommy Fury has been left “devastated” after having to return to training camp less than 24 hours after Molly-Mae Hague gave birth to their second child.
The 27-year-old boxer flew back to Manchester via private jet on Thursday, just a day after his partner, also 27, welcomed their newest family member. Tommy is preparing for a high-stakes fight against retired strongman Eddie Hall on June 13.
A source told The Sun: “He flew back to Manchester yesterday. He’s absolutely shattered but the fight is less than two weeks away, so he has to focus on his training. Molly is upset too, but she’s surrounded by family and understands why he had to go.”
The couple are expected to reunite soon at their Cheshire family home, but the bittersweet farewell was emotional for both.
