Steve Harvey’s personal life was unexpectedly thrust into the spotlight after online rumors began circulating about alleged cheating involving his wife, Marjorie Harvey — claims that both she and Steve have firmly denied. 
The couple, who have been married since 2007, quickly addressed the speculation, shutting down the rumors and reaffirming their relationship publicly.
Speaking at Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta, Steve Harvey reassured fans directly: “Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine. Marriage is fine… I don’t know what y’all are doin’, but find something else to do cause we fine, Lord have mercy.” 
Marjorie also responded on Instagram, stating that she and her husband do not usually address “foolishness and lies” spread online, but felt compelled to reject the claims due to their public platform and responsibility to their supporters. 
Beyond the headlines, Marjorie Harvey remains a well-known entrepreneur, fashion personality, and philanthropist. Born Marjorie Bridges, she is Steve Harvey’s third wife and originally hails from Tennessee. She briefly studied at the University of Memphis before building a career in fashion, blogging, and social media.
She is also a mother of three from her previous marriage to Darnell Woods — Morgan, Jason, and Lori — all of whom use the Harvey surname. Together, Steve and Marjorie also co-founded the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, which focuses on youth outreach and empowerment programs.
A love story years in the making
Steve and Marjorie first met in 1990 at The Comedy Zone in Memphis, where Steve was performing. Their initial connection was immediate but short-lived.
Years later, they reconnected in 2005, and their relationship reignited after more than a decade apart. Marjorie once recalled Steve’s first impression of her, saying he confidently declared he would marry her after meeting her.
However, their journey wasn’t smooth. Steve went on to marry twice before finally reuniting with Marjorie, following encouragement from someone close to him who urged him to reconnect with “the woman who truly made him happy.”
They eventually married on June 25, 2007, and in recent years celebrated milestones such as their 16th wedding anniversary with a romantic trip to Lake Como, Italy.
A blended family of seven children
Together, Steve and Marjorie have built a large blended family of seven children.
Steve is father to twin daughters Brandi and Karli, son Broderick, and Wynton from previous relationships. Marjorie brings three children from her previous marriage — Morgan, Jason, and Lori — into the family.
The couple also share a growing legacy of grandchildren, with multiple grandchildren from both sides of the family, strengthening their extended family bond.
