Zayn Malik has shocked fans by pulling out of several high-profile events, including a highly anticipated One Night Only performance, after a sudden and unexplained health scare. The 33-year-old singer, who recently shared a photo from his hospital bed, is reportedly seeking treatment from the “No. 1 cardiologist in the world.”
The Pillowtalk hitmaker was scheduled to perform in Kingston, UK, on April 13 as part of his promotional tour for his new album, KONNAKOL. However, Zayn revealed his heartbreaking decision to cancel the show, explaining his regret on Instagram: “Heartbroken that I can’t see you all this week, I wouldn’t be in the place I am today without you guys. Thank you for your understanding.”
Sources have now revealed that Zayn is undergoing extensive medical care, with reports stating that he was unable to appear on The Tonight Show as a result of doctor’s orders. “He’s still working through his health issues,” an insider shared. “He was supposed to appear on Fallon, but isn’t able to due to doctor’s recommendations.”
Zayn’s unexpected health scare comes as he prepares for his biggest solo tour ever, spanning 31 dates across North America, South America, Mexico, and the UK. His upcoming shows are a milestone for the artist, who previously canceled live dates due to “extreme anxiety.”
The tour kicks off on May 12, 2026, at Manchester’s AO Arena, with other notable stops in Glasgow, Birmingham, and London’s The O2 on May 23. However, recent reports have added fuel to the fire, with claims of a physical altercation between Zayn and his One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson, which allegedly resulted in Louis suffering a concussion.
While the duo’s much-anticipated Netflix documentary has been scrapped, their relationship remains fractured, with Louis unfollowing Zayn on Instagram following the incident.
As Zayn continues to recover, his fans are left wondering: is this the beginning of a much bigger crisis for the singer?
