Once again, fans rallied behind him.
Once again, he won the Nationwide Charity Challenge, securing a $35,000 donation for the cause.
It was the third time he’d captured the fan-driven portion of the award — a quiet testament to the bond he’s built with the city he’s called home for more than a decade.

When the league-wide winner was announced at the NFL Honors ceremony, Kelce found himself in familiar territory.
A finalist — but not the recipient.
For the third time overall, and the second year in a row, the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award went elsewhere. The 2025 honour was awarded to Bobby Wagner, recognised for his powerful work through the FAST54 Phenia Mae Fund, supporting stroke patients and education in honour of his late mother.
Wagner’s emotional acceptance speech drew admiration across the league — and deservedly so.
But the result meant Kelce’s chosen charity would not receive the $250,000 donation awarded to the overall winner.
A disappointment.

Those close to Kelce insist the outcome hasn’t changed how he views his work — or his purpose.

“It has made me a better person and made me a better man knowing that I can influence the community and the kids in my community,” Kelce said in a league video featuring the finalists.
“I just don’t know any other way.”
