It might be the most unexpected wedding venue suggestion of the year â and itâs still very much on the table.
Robert Irwin has revealed that heâs still waiting to hear back from Taylor Swift after boldly offering to host her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce at none other than Australia Zoo.
Appearing on The Smalzy Show this week, the 22-year-old Wildlife Warrior was asked the question Swifties everywhere are secretly wondering: has Taylor said yes?
âNot yet,â Robert laughed. âNot yet being the operative word. We will see.â
Still, heâs clearly not giving up.
Romance⊠With Crocodiles?
Irwin leaned fully into the charm â and chaos â of the idea.
âWeddings at the zoo,â he joked. âI mean, what says romance more than having apex predators and crocodiles at your wedding, right?â
As absurd as it sounds, Robert insists itâs not just a novelty pitch. Australia Zoo has quietly become one of Queenslandâs most popular wedding destinations, with stunning ceremony spots overlooking open savanna landscapes where giraffes and rhinos roam freely.
âWe have this beautiful location overlooking the African savanna,â he explained. âYou get married with wildlife just living their best life in the background â and itâs stunning.â
âMake It an Australian Weddingâ
Robert previously stunned fans when he publicly floated the idea of hosting the A-list nuptials, saying an Australian setting would elevate the entire occasion.
âYou know what would absolutely make that wedding, in my opinion?â he said. âIf it was an Australian wedding.â
He even addressed the couple directly, urging them to lock it in.
âSo, Travis and Taylor â hit me up. I got you!â
A Date Already Written in the Stars
While the venue remains undecided, the date may already be set.
Multiple sources told Page Six last month that Swift and Kelce are planning to marry on Saturday, June 13, 2026 â a number deeply symbolic to Swift, who has long called 13 her lucky number.
The engagement itself was revealed on August 26, exactly 13 days after Taylor appeared on Travisâ New Heights podcast. During that episode, the couple even joked about their numerology alignment â Travis wears No. 87, Taylorâs favourite is 13, and together?
â13 and 87 make 100,â Taylor laughed. âThatâs probably part of the reason weâre dating.â
Still Waiting â But Hopeful
For now, Robert Irwin remains patiently optimistic, doors wide open, crocodiles included.
Whether Taylor Swift says âI doâ beside giraffes in Queensland or somewhere far more traditional, one thing is certain:
This wedding already feels anything but ordinary.
