Patrick Kielty Leaves £5 Million Marital Home Filled with Memories — Parting Words Spark Hope for a Second Chance with Cat Deeley

Patrick Kielty has moved out of the £5 million home he once shared with wife Cat Deeley — a house the couple had lovingly redesigned together just over six months ago, down to the smallest detail.

Back then, the pair were excitedly choosing finishes, fabrics, and layouts to create what they thought would be their forever family home. Today, those same walls are steeped in memories — and the laughter that once filled them has been replaced by silence.

The move comes just weeks after Patrick, 54, and This Morning host Cat, 48, shocked fans by announcing the end of their 13-year marriage. Friends say the turning point came months earlier, when Cat did not attend Patrick’s mother Mary’s funeral in March.

One family source told the Daily Mail: “Whatever was going on in the marriage, something as important as his mother’s funeral… you put differences aside, at least for the day. Cat knew how close Patrick was to Mary. She should have been there, a hand on his shoulder. The fact she stayed in London to host This Morning hasn’t been forgotten.”

At the time, Cat explained she remained at home to care for their two young sons — Milo, seven, and James, five. Her spokesperson said: “Cat stayed at home to be there for her children before and after school on this very sad day.”

Patrick has since been spending much of his time at his stylish property in Dundrum, County Down, Northern Ireland — now dubbed his “divorce house.” Overlooking Dundrum Bay and the Mourne Mountains, it features a cinema, games room, gym, and spa. It was once their family’s getaway spot, but now serves as his private retreat.

Locals say he’s been keeping a low profile. “He’s not been out much, and it’s clearly been a difficult time for him,” one source said. “But his family and friends are rallying around.”

Cameras recently captured a particularly emotional moment — Patrick wheeling his suitcase out of the home, while Cat stood quietly, gazing at the place that had once been filled with their happiest moments.

Before leaving, Patrick is said to have shared a heartfelt remark — words that left friends and onlookers wondering if, despite everything, there might still be hope for the couple’s love story.

Patrick and Cat spent 15 years living in the US before returning to the UK, where she now fronts This Morning alongside Ben Shephard. Whether their paths will cross again in a more personal way remains to be seen.
