Molly-Mae Hague Admits She and Tommy Fury Are Torn Over Sending Daughter Bambi to School — ‘I Don’t Want Her to Lose Herself’

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about a deeply personal parenting dilemma — revealing she and partner Tommy Fury are still undecided about whether to send their three-year-old daughter Bambi Fury to school.
The 26-year-old influencer and former Love Island star confessed the decision feels “terrifying”, admitting she fears handing her child over to a system that could dim the spark that makes Bambi who she is.
Speaking candidly in her latest vlog, Molly-Mae said the couple recently visited a potential school — but instead of clarity, it left them even more conflicted.

“We’re very much on the fence,” she explained. “I don’t want Bambi to lose herself.”

‘Handing Your Child Over Feels Scary’
Molly-Mae admitted that while she does want Bambi to go to school eventually, she’s unsure what that should look like — or when it should happen.

“The thought of handing your child over five days a week, six or seven hours a day, to a system… it’s kind of terrifying,” she said.Influencer denies Tommy Fury fathered her baby as speculation swirls following Molly-Mae Hague split | The Standard

She explained that both she and Tommy are extremely protective parents — and while they believe in structure and discipline, they want it to be on their own terms.

“We’re strict with Bambi, but in a way we’re comfortable with.”

Catholic School — Or Homeschooling?
Religion has also played a role in their uncertainty. Molly-Mae revealed that if Bambi does attend school, Tommy is keen for it to be a Catholic school, which she fully supports.

“Catholic schools are few and far between,” she said. “But it’s non-negotiable for Tommy, and I respect that.”

The couple have been attending church more regularly and plan to baptise both Bambi and their second child — whom Molly-Mae is currently pregnant with — once the baby arrives.
Still, homeschooling hasn’t been ruled out.

“If we put her in a school and she absolutely loves it, amazing,” Molly-Mae said. “But if it doesn’t work… could homeschooling be an option?”

‘I Just Want Her to Stay Bambi’
At the heart of the debate is Molly-Mae’s fear that formal schooling could change her daughter too soon.

“Bambi has such brightness about her,” she shared. “I just want her to stay Bambi.”

She admitted that her own unhappy school experiences are shaping how she feels today.

“People say school is the best years of your life — but it wasn’t for me,” she said, recalling a difficult, clique-filled environment.

That lingering memory has made her cautious about rushing into a decision that could impact her daughter’s future.
No Easy Answers — Just Love
Molly-Mae stressed that neither she nor Tommy is anti-school — despite past discussions about education shown on At Home With The Furys — and denied speculation that the hesitation is linked to Tommy’s Traveller background.

“Tommy went to school,” she said. “We’re just trying to find what works.”

For now, the couple are hitting pause — choosing reflection over pressure, and love over expectations.

“I don’t want Bambi to miss out,” Molly-Mae concluded. “I just want her to be happy.”

And in a world full of opinions, that’s one decision no parent ever takes lightly.
