Katie Price Defends Her Marriage to Lee Andrews After Family Concerns, Reveals £36M Dubai Home Bought in Cash

Katie Price has doubled down on her belief that her new husband, Lee Andrews, is the one for her, insisting she’s “the happiest I’ve ever been” despite the whirlwind of doubts and rumors surrounding their relationship.

In a new interview, the 47-year-old star boldly defended her 42-year-old businessman husband, slamming claims that he’s a “con man” or involved in scams. “Lee is not a scammer. He’s the real deal,” Katie stated confidently, shutting down the growing skepticism from both her family and his ex-partners.

The couple’s January wedding in Dubai raised more than a few eyebrows, especially after they met just 10 days prior. But despite her family’s worries, as well as accusations that Lee had made false claims about his wealth and business connections, Katie is standing by her man, sharing the most unexpected news of all — Lee paid for their £36 million Dubai mansion in cash. 💸

“I Trust Him Completely”

Katie went on to reveal that she refused to sign a pre-nuptial agreement, believing her relationship with Lee was genuine. “I’m not stupid, but I have so much trust in him. He’s shown me documents proving his wealth. I’ve seen the proof, and he paid for our home in Dubai with cash,” Katie declared, standing firm in her commitment to the man she married so quickly after meeting.

Katie’s sister Sophie has previously hinted at her disapproval of her new marriage and said their podcast would be ‘ paused’ for the foreseeable future

While her family has expressed their concerns about the speed of the wedding and the possibility of being scammed, Katie insists she’s made her own choices. “I’m not a kid anymore. I’m 47, and I’m entitled to make my own decisions,” she stated, adding, “My family loves me, and I love them, but they need to let me live my life.”

Love at First DM

Katie confessed that she and Lee’s love story started unexpectedly when Lee appeared as a suggested follow on Instagram. Their relationship quickly blossomed, with the couple messaging for hours each day before meeting in person in Dubai. “I thought I’d been in love before, but this feels different. It’s an instant connection, not about lust. I fell in love with him long before we even got physical,” she said.

Her family, however, was taken aback by the rapid pace of the relationship. Katie’s sister, Sophie, has hinted at disapproval, even pausing their shared podcast, while other family members remain concerned about the marriage. But Katie is undeterred. “Of course, they worry. They’ve seen me go through so much pain. But I’m not a kid anymore. I can make my own choices, and they have to respect that,” she said, reiterating her desire for independence.

A Strong and Supportive Family

Despite the challenges, Katie’s children — Princess, 18, and Junior, 20 — have expressed their support. On This Morning, Junior said, “Our mum is her own person, and she’s going to do what she’s going to do. As long as she’s happy, we’re happy.” Princess added, “If she’s happy, we’re happy,” showing that, despite the whirlwind romance, her family ultimately wants what’s best for her.

Katie and Lee, who have faced plenty of hurdles from the start, continue to share a loving relationship. Lee has even shared plans for a second, larger wedding in the UK with friends and family, despite ongoing claims about his legal issues in the UAE.

Facing the Future Together

Katie remains resolute in her love for Lee, despite ongoing criticism and claims about his past. “We’re in love, and that’s all that matters,” she said. Lee also addressed the speculation, denying that he was trapped in the UAE due to legal troubles. “I’m not going to tell you everything, but Katie will be flying to Oman, and I’ll pick her up from there. We’re married and in love — that’s what you do.”

Katie’s journey may have been filled with uncertainty, but one thing is clear: she’s confident in her choice to stand by Lee. In the end, she is committed to finding her own path, regardless of the doubts others may have.

💬 “As long as she’s happy, that’s all we care about,” said her children. And for now, it seems that Katie Price is doing just that — happy, in love, and making her own choices. ❤️
