Jeff Brazier has reportedly been left shocked and upset after learning that his sons, Bobby and Freddy, have decided to continue their reality TV show without him. The This Morning presenter, 46, had previously pulled out of the project—a fly-on-the-wall documentary series modeled after The Osbournes—due to ongoing tensions with his sons.
Sources close to the family revealed that Jeff’s decision to step away was influenced by the “ongoing stress” in the Brazier family. However, it was then revealed that Bobby and Freddy intended to continue filming the series without their father.
An insider shared with The Sun, “Jeff was actually pretty blindsided when he found out. He’s struggling to understand why they would want to continue without him.” The source added that Jeff is finding it hard to accept the fact that his sons are now “bigger stars” than he is, calling it a “hard pill to swallow.”
“They have so much going on, and it would make for great TV,” the insider explained. “Jeff’s career has taken a hit recently, and this is just the latest blow. He’s pretty fuming about it all.”
The source also revealed that tensions between Jeff and his sons have caused a strained atmosphere, with everyone “walking on eggshells.” The family’s tumultuous relationships have included Jeff’s split from his wife, Kate Dwyer, and Freddy’s breakup with his pregnant girlfriend, Holly Swinburn.
Last year, Jeff was in talks with ITV about the show, which was set to follow him and his sons as they dealt with their personal and family struggles. The series was to be modeled on The Osbournes, the iconic reality show about Ozzy Osbourne and his family.
Meanwhile, Jeff’s relationship with his ex-wife Kate ended in December, with Jeff sharing a heartfelt post on Instagram about their separation. He expressed gratitude for their years together, despite the complex challenges they faced, including his strained relationship with Freddy.
Despite these personal battles, it’s clear that Jeff’s feelings about the reality show decision have added to the mounting stress within the family. Now, as his sons move forward with the project without him, the question remains: will this be the final blow for the Brazier family dynamic?
