Jess Wright has opened up about her son Presley’s health, sharing some emotional and hopeful news after his recent diagnosis with a rare heart condition. The former TOWIE star, 40, revealed that doctors have seen an unexpected improvement in her three-year-old son’s condition, which is incredibly rare.
During a recent episode of her podcast Wright At Home, Jess spoke with her mum Carol and sister Natalya about the progress Presley has made. “The other day, the doctor said that it has reduced, which is really, really rare, it doesn’t happen often. He’s doing really well,” Jess explained, becoming emotional as she shared the update.
She continued, “You hold it together for these checks and then you kind of hold it together after because you get good news. To be in that kind of agonizing wait not knowing if it’s going to be good or the worst news, every four months, is just not easy.”
Jess and her husband William Lee-Kemp learned about Presley’s congenital heart condition, bicuspid aortic valve, in 2024. They’ve been anxiously awaiting updates ever since.
Despite the positive news, Jess expressed her concerns: “We just have to hope and pray that his heart sustains where it is at the moment. It’s just that we’re close to the level where it will need operating on.” But, she added, “Defying all the odds, he’s got that, but he’s still completely active and really energetic.”
Jess also reflected on how Presley remains strong, saying, “He’s going to be OK, he’s such a strong boy.”
