Now Craig, 61, has come to the Emmerdale actor’s defence and said the way he was treated during the live show by boxer David, 45, and footballer Jimmy, 47, was ‘bang out of order’.

Craig, who starred in Red Dwarf, described the emotional fallout, explaining how Adam was left looking like a “broken man” after the altercation. Despite his victory, Adam allegedly ripped off his crown and threw it to the ground following taunts from David. Craig suggested that this behavior was the result of constant goading by both David and Jimmy.

The radio star admitted that the scene was deeply upsetting for everyone involved, especially since it couldn’t be fully aired due to its intensity. “It was really traumatic,” Craig said, recalling how Adam was “wound up” and “looked like he was going to attack Jimmy.”

Although ITV edited much of the confrontation, Craig insists the bullying Adam endured was far worse than what was shown on television. “We weren’t picking on Adam at all, it was just what he did,” Craig stated.

Sinitta, who also appeared on Good Morning Britain, weighed in on the incident, acknowledging that while there was banter between Adam and Jimmy, it “felt like bullying” at times. She explained that Adam’s angry behavior, accompanied by foul language, made her uncomfortable, and she saw signs of a potential fight breaking out.

However, Sinitta stopped short of labeling it as true bullying, instead describing it as “boisterous testosterone.” She emphasized her commitment to anti-bullying causes and her willingness to stand up for others, but reiterated that the situation felt more like a clash of personalities than malicious bullying.

The fallout from this explosive finale continues to stir debate, with many fans questioning what was really happening behind the scenes.
