SCARLETT Moffatt has revealed secret health struggles she’s been facing, describing it as “hellish”.
The TV star, 35, is currently pregnant and expecting her second child with fiancé Scott Dobinson.
However, the pregnancy journey sounds like it’s been far from smooth sailing in a statement penned to Scarlett’s Instagram story.
Written over a selfie of herself laying in bed looking tired, Scarlett shared just how much she’s been struggling with feeling unwell while carrying the baby.
She wrote to her fans, candidly: “Also for those lovely ones saying I’m glowing, let me tell you the first trimester was HELL lol.
“I was driving to jobs and having mini sicks [throwing up a little].
“Then filming, getting hot flushes and migraines.
“So I’m now accepting compliments lol thank you.”
The honest statement comes just over a week after Scarlett officially confirmed that she’s expecting baby number two by posting a sweet video online with Scott and their first son Jude.
The former Gogglebox star captioned the announcement with joy, gushing: “We honestly can’t believe we’re writing this…
“After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing.
“One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother.
“And if there’s one thing we know for certain, it’s that he is going to be the most amazing big brother.
“We are so grateful, so excited, and still a little bit in shock…Our hearts are fuller than we ever thought possible.”
Scarlett competed on this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity South Africa.
She talked to her campmates about her fertility journey while in the jungle, emotionally sharing: “When all you want is a family, it’s really hard when that doesn’t come naturally or easily, you question yourself, is it ever going to happen?
“It’s just really hard. It just makes life feel heavier.”
After trying for baby Jude for four years the star was on her way to her first IVF appointment, but then found out she was pregnant.
