Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall has quietly ended his relationship with younger girlfriend Ellie Dolan after more than a year of dating. The 43-year-old star, known for his portrayal of family man Tyrone Dobbs on ITV’s soap opera, had been reportedly smitten with HR worker Ellie, who is 17 years his junior.
The pair had previously shared public displays of affection, including a steamy New Year’s Eve kiss captured in a selfie and photographs featuring Alan’s daughter Sienna, 12. Ellie, a private individual with two children from a previous relationship, joined Alan at family events, including the wedding of his co-star Jack P. Shepherd.
Sources report that all traces of each other have now been removed from social media, and the couple no longer follow each other. Alan has been focusing his time on daughter Sienna following the split.
Alan and Ellie first met at Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park Country Club, where he is a member and she works as a human resources coordinator. They began dating in December 2024, just weeks after Alan returned from filming I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in Australia, keeping their romance largely private until May 2025.
Previously, Alan was in a relationship with his Coronation Street co-star Tisha Merry, 32, from 2019 until their split in 2024. He was also married to Hollyoaks actress Lucy-Jo Hudson before their 2018 divorce, with whom he shares daughter Sienna.
In recent years, Alan has embraced a healthier lifestyle, showcasing a trimmer appearance through strict diets and rigorous workouts. He often shares gym sessions on Instagram alongside co-star Colson Smith, who also experienced significant weight loss.
This latest split marks a new chapter in Halsall’s personal life as he continues to balance his career and family commitments.
