 Get Me Out Of Here! winner AngryGinge has been left heartbroken after revealing that three of his mother’s beloved pets tragically died in a fire that destroyed her Manchester home.

The 24-year-old YouTuber, real name Morgan Burtwistle, shared the devastating news on Instagram on Tuesday, just hours after learning of the blaze which occurred before his appearance at this year’s Soccer Aid charity match. Despite the personal tragedy, he and his team celebrated victory for UNICEF, lifting the charity trophy on Sunday.

In his first video update, Ginge showed the extensive damage inside the home before revealing the heartbreaking loss of his mum Michelle’s two cats and rabbit. “My mum had two cats and a rabbit in the house. They obviously didn’t survive
 So rest in peace, Simba, Herbert, and Sparky,” he said, visibly emotional. “I obviously lived with them when I stayed with my mum in Bacup
 it’s really, really sad.”

The star reassured fans that the main concern was his mother’s safety. “If my mum was in the house, she wouldn’t have made it out,” he said, choking back tears. Wearing a mask to protect against dust and smoke, Ginge walked through the ruined living room, explaining: “Morning of Soccer Aid I got a call saying mum’s house has burned down. This is what we are dealing with now
 there will be more updates soon.”

He added: “Just letting you all know I probably won’t be live tonight as we have had a major family issue. A lot needs sorting out. I appreciate your support and I’ll go live whenever I can.”

Reflecting on the support from fans during Soccer Aid, Ginge admitted: “The support last night cheered me up massively
 but right now, I need to be with my family and make sure everything is okay.”

Raised by his mother on a council estate in Salford, Ginge’s early life was shaped by Michelle’s hard work, juggling multiple jobs including cleaning and care work to earn around £12,500 a year for her children. She previously revealed how the family stayed safe in a tough neighborhood by keeping young Morgan engaged in after-school activities like football, theatre, and rugby.

Michelle also spoke about the emotional toll of seeing her son struggle with homesickness on the show. “I haven’t managed to watch the full episode yet, but I saw a clip on TikTok and my heart sank,” she told The Sun. “It was so hard to see, because I know Morgan is such a strong person. I just can’t wait to give him the biggest hug on that bridge.”

The tragic fire has not only destroyed a family home but also claimed the lives of cherished pets, leaving a deep emotional impact on the popular YouTuber and his loved ones.
