In a clip from The View podcast, the 36-year-old TV personality opened up about the frightening experience, saying she and her husband Justin Griffin spent the weekend by their newborn’s side in the ICU after the unexpected surgery.

She shared that she spent the time praying and coping privately, but was deeply relieved when doctors confirmed the operation had gone even better than expected.

According to Griffin, her son is now recovering well and meeting milestones quickly, even showing playful and happy behaviour shortly after the procedure.

Baby Justin Jr. was born weighing 7 lbs and measuring 19.5 inches.

Despite the frightening ordeal, Griffin says her son is now on the road to full recovery and thriving at home.
