Cat Deeley has been spotted for the first time since ending her 13-year marriage to Patrick Kielty — and she was notably without her wedding ring.
The 48-year-old This Morning host was seen enjoying dinner with her boyfriend, celebrity hairstylist Ben Skervin, in Sitges, Spain, on August 2 — the very same day Patrick, 54, was photographed moving out of the London home they once shared into a new apartment. Cat and Patrick share two sons, Milo, seven, and James, five, and announced their separation last month. 
Onlookers described the presenter as looking “crestfallen” during what they called a “difficult time.”
Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show Cat and Ben sharing a relaxed evening meal at the popular restaurant Chiringuito de Garraf. Ben is a well-known hairstylist who has worked with some of the biggest names in entertainment, including the Spice Girls, Mariah Carey, and Madonna.
A fellow diner told the publication:
“Cat looked a bit down and a touch crestfallen, not her usual spritely self, which is understandable given her marriage split. Her accent was recognisable to a number of Brits at the restaurant, which is popular with celebrities, and she even chatted with a few British kids also dining there. She clearly needed to be around her nearest and dearest during such a difficult time.”
The dinner sighting coincided with Patrick’s quiet but telling move — seen carrying his belongings and wheeling a suitcase out of the home he once shared with Cat.
It comes as new claims emerge about when Patrick’s family “knew the marriage was over.” According to sources, the turning point came in March when Cat did not attend the funeral of Patrick’s mother, Mary.
One insider said:
“Whatever rockiness was going on in the marriage, something as momentous as his mother’s funeral — you would make up, even temporarily, and just put your ‘best face’ on. Cat knew how close Patrick was to Mary. She should have been there by his side, a hand on his shoulder, as he buried his mother. The fact that she stayed in London and presented This Morning on the day… it’s not been forgotten.”
At the time, Cat insisted she had stayed in London to be with their children. A spokesperson told the Mail:
“Cat remained at home to be there for her two young children before and after school on this very sad day.”
