Months of negative pregnancy tests and mounting frustration made the journey feel impossible at times.
“It was different the second time around,” McEnany wrote. “Several months passed, and negative pregnancy tests were ample. As spring of 2022 approached, part of me began to worry. Why wasn’t I getting pregnant?”
The turning point came when McEnany, feeling overwhelmed, found comfort in her faith. At a Christian conference in March 2022, surrounded by prayer, worship, and the support of those around her, Kayleigh’s mindset shifted. Just three days after the prayer, McEnany decided to take a pregnancy test, a decision that changed everything. She was expecting.
“Three days later, I felt the urge to take a pregnancy test,” McEnany said. “And it turned out, I was expecting.”
She credited this miracle to the power of prayer, support from loved ones, and her unwavering faith. “For Sean and me, our worries about getting pregnant lasted only a few months. But for millions of women, struggles with pregnancy can last much longer,” McEnany shared, expressing empathy for those facing similar challenges.
