In a previous update, Davina revealed that she had discovered a lump in October, just months after having a mammogram. Despite the unsettling news, the lump was small and caught early, leading to a successful lumpectomy. “It felt like being punched in the face by the universe,” she admitted, reflecting on the shock of the diagnosis.
She urged all women to get checked, even if they’ve recently had a mammogram: “Don’t think it can’t be that—get anything unusual checked out.”
