Phillip Schofield’s new relationship appears all but confirmed after the former This Morning host was spotted once again with the same younger man, just days after their first sighting together made headlines.
On Saturday, the 63-year-old presenter was seen enjoying a long, boozy lunch in London with London-based nurse Joshua Luke Sharman, 30. The pair, who first appeared together earlier this week, were photographed leaving the restaurant looking relaxed — and more than a little cosy.
At one point, Phillip was seen helping Joshua walk, with the two leaning close, sharing a warm embrace and even nuzzling into each other in full view of passers-by. Witnesses say their chemistry was hard to miss, with both clutching vapes as they strolled down the street together.
Joshua, whose Instagram features famous friends like Sally Lindsay and Gok Wan, appeared at ease with the TV veteran. Dressed in a blue polo shirt and shorts, he smiled as Phillip, in casual attire, stuck close by his side.
The repeat public appearance comes after Schofield stepped away from television in 2023 following the fallout from an affair with a younger male colleague — a relationship he described as “unwise but not illegal.” Married to Stephanie Lowe since 1993, Phillip has not publicly confirmed a romance since. Reports suggest Stephanie has chosen not to file for divorce, despite the scandal, because “the love is still there” and she does not want him to “fall any further.”
The controversy also caused a rift between Schofield and his long-time co-host Holly Willoughby, with the pair no longer on speaking terms. His daughter Molly now serves as his publicist after leaving the talent agency that once represented him.
In previous interviews, Schofield admitted the aftermath of the scandal left him feeling suicidal, revealing his daughters “saved his life” by staying by his side “every moment” to make sure he was safe.
While neither Phillip nor Joshua has commented on the nature of their relationship, their second public outing in just four days — complete with affectionate street-side moments — has fuelled intense speculation that this is far more than friendship.
