Peter Andre has launched a blistering response to ex-wife Katie Price, breaking a 16-year vow of silence to address what he calls “baseless lies” that have dogged him for years.
The 52-year-old singer spoke out just hours after Katie, 47, publicly called for “peace talks” between them, claiming their daughter Princess has been “unfairly” dragged into their ongoing feud.
Speculation about a growing rift between Katie and Princess has intensified in recent weeks. The former glamour model was notably absent from her daughter’s 18th birthday party and didn’t appear in Princess’ fly-on-the-wall ITV reality series. Katie insists she was told by her daughter’s management not to feature in the show.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Peter finally gave his side of the story:
“For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones. But staying silent has been incredibly frustrating — that ends today.
“The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.
“In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.”

Peter went on to claim that in 2011 and 2015, public court cases found Katie had made false allegations, resulting in her paying substantial damages, legal costs, and issuing a public apology to him and his management.
“The same falsehoods are being repeated today,” he added. “Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”
Katie’s spokesperson responded, telling the Daily Mail: “Kate is in a much better, clearer headspace and is at peace with the situation. This was in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to get into tit-for-tat comments. It’s now in her lawyers’ hands. Kate will no longer be gaslighted or bullied as she once was.”
Her plea for reconciliation came during her Katie Price Show podcast, where she insisted both parents should be able to support Princess:
“This isn’t about me. I don’t care that I’m not in Princess’s show — I do enough stuff. I just want to be there for whatever my daughter does, the same with Junior. I feel I’ve missed out on so much.”
Katie added that she believes it’s “time for all of us adults to sit down” and resolve their differences, even if they’re not “best buddies.”
The podcast also featured Katie’s sister Sophie, who suggested Princess could push for her mother’s inclusion in the show. But Katie said her daughter might be “scared” to speak up to management.
The former couple — once reality TV’s golden pair — married in a lavish ceremony before divorcing in 2009 after four years. Katie has always claimed Peter made the decision to leave.
Princess herself recently revealed on her reality show The Princess Diaries that their divorce left her feeling she “couldn’t just go” to her dad because of her parents’ mutual dislike. She now sees a counsellor to help cope with the fallout.
Meanwhile, Katie has been recovering from more cosmetic surgery at a clinic in Turkey, undergoing a lip lift correction, brow lift, and eye lift. The 47-year-old has had at least 16 breast surgeries, three nose jobs, and six facelifts over the years.
The tension escalated after Katie was reportedly banned from appearing on Princess’ show, produced by Peter’s management company Can Associates — the same firm that once represented Katie until their 2009 split.
In recent weeks, Katie has made pointed remarks about “people who used to look after me” and hinted they don’t want Princess to be seen with her. She also claimed “certain people” were behind her absence from her daughter’s milestone birthday celebrations.
Once Britain’s most talked-about celebrity couple, Peter and Katie’s post-divorce life has been anything but quiet — and with Peter now promising more revelations “in the coming months,” this family drama is far from over.
