Josie Gibson, the beloved TV presenter and star of Big Brother, has opened up about the emotional struggles of juggling her career and motherhood as a working single mum. At 41, the mum to seven-year-old Reggie admits she’s “struggling and stressed,” finding it tough to balance work and parenting while maintaining her mental well-being.

In a candid interview, Josie shared her thoughts with OK! Magazine, saying, “Mums shouldn’t look up to me. I’m juggling, I’m struggling, I’m stressed. I’m just like any other mum out there – it’s all a juggle and I’m trying my best to hold it all together.”

The star, who has made several guest appearances on This Morning, explained why she isn’t pursuing a full-time role on the show. “I only get to be a mum once, and you never get that time back,” she said, explaining that her priority is to focus on raising her son, Reggie.

Josie also revealed that her life has taken a simpler turn as she’s recently moved into a caravan with her son while renovations continue on her home. Despite her successful TV career, insiders reveal that Josie has opted to embrace a “normal” life, even saying she’d be happy living in a caravan forever, as long as she could find a partner.

But it’s not just her career or home life that’s causing a stir – Josie’s love life has captured fans’ attention too. After being spotted with what was dubbed “the world’s hottest farrier” at Cheltenham earlier this month, fans were left hopeful that Josie had found love. However, those dreams were dashed when it was revealed that the man in question is already engaged.

A source close to Josie said, “She wants to settle down with a nice man and give her son a stable family life. She’s been burned in the past, but she’s still optimistic and loves being in love.”

Josie has made it clear that while she doesn’t need a mansion or expensive things to be happy, she’s still hoping to meet someone she can truly rely on.

Meanwhile, Josie is also keeping herself busy documenting her home renovations on her show, Josie Gibson’s Big Country Build.

After winning Big Brother in 2010, Josie became a fan favorite and a regular on television, with appearances on Loose Women, The Jump, I’m A Celebrity, and The Masked Singer UK. Since 2019, she has been a guest presenter on This Morning and has continued to build her television career.
