Katie Price is set to appear on her daughter Princess Andre’s ITV2 fly-on-the-wall series, The Princess Diaries, after previously being blocked from the show. The 48-year-old glamour model filmed scenes with 18-year-old Princess this week, marking a major reversal in producers’ earlier decision.

Katie had been prevented from appearing during the first series, with CAN Associates, managed by her former agent Claire Powell, requesting she be excluded. The agency now manages both Princess and ex-husband Peter Andre. A source explained: “Princess loves her mum regardless of what is going on. Other family members appear on the show, so why shouldn’t Katie be allowed?”
Previously, Katie’s voice was heard on the first series only during phone calls with Princess. Her longstanding feud with Claire stems from the breakdown of her marriage to Peter Andre in 2009, when Claire managed both parents. Katie later sought legal action over privacy breaches and has been vocal about feeling controlled by Claire during her marriage.
The decision to allow Katie back on the show comes at a turbulent time in her personal life. Her fourth husband, Lee Andrews, recently vanished for two weeks, causing Katie great worry amid false reports of his arrest in Dubai. Despite this, she has resumed filming for her daughter’s series, which became ITV2’s biggest reality launch outside Love Island and Big Brother, earning a double recommission and longlisting for this year’s National Television Awards in the Reality Docuseries category.
Katie’s return promises fresh, behind-the-scenes access to her family life and mother-daughter relationship, offering viewers a glimpse into her life during this dramatic chapter.
