Molly-Mae, already a mother to three-year-old Bambi, says she and Tommy were never going to pick a “normal” name for their new baby. In a recent YouTube video, Molly-Mae shared her excitement about the name they’ve picked, but also admitted that she’s bracing herself for backlash.
“I think we’re pretty much set on a name now, which is crazy,” she revealed. “But I can’t wait for everyone to probably hate it. It’s a unique name – we were never going to pick just an ordinary name.”
The 26-year-old star added, “I’ve only heard of one other baby with this name,” making it clear just how special (and potentially polarizing) the name is.
Despite the potential criticism, Molly-Mae is unapologetic. “We wanted something different,” she said. “I’m sure some people will be like, ‘What the hell?’ but honestly, it was never going to be an ordinary name, let’s be real.”
As Molly-Mae nears the final weeks of her pregnancy, she also shared how her body is starting to “struggle” as she’s been keeping busy with her daily routine.
Meanwhile, Tommy shared a sweet snapshot of the couple enjoying breakfast together as they countdown the days until their second child’s arrival. “Not long to go now,” he wrote, as he prepares for the birth.
But not all fans are happy with Tommy’s plans for a big boxing match just one day after Molly-Mae’s due date. The boxer is set to fight retired strongman Eddie Hall in a high-profile event in Manchester on June 13.
Some fans have expressed concern that Tommy’s fight may cause him to miss the birth, as he was also involved in a major fight with Jake Paul just before Bambi was born. However, Molly-Mae has been supportive of her partner’s fight, posting an excited “SHOW TIME!!!” on social media.
This comes after Molly-Mae faced backlash from environmental activists who criticized her for flying on a private jet to Disneyland Paris with her daughter. Many questioned her commitment to reducing her carbon footprint and how it would affect future generations.
Still, Molly-Mae remains unfazed, sharing more photos from the trip, including moments with her daughter, Bambi, as they soaked up the “last moments of just us.”
