For Peter Andre, the celebrations began long before sunrise.
After returning home at 3am following a performance in Blackpool, the Mysterious Girl singer was met with a touching surprise — a room filled with presents and a homemade birthday cake lovingly prepared by his children.
The singer, who turned 53 on Friday, shared his delight as he took in the scene.
“Well, I’ve just come home and I’ve seen this — they’ve made me a cake,” Peter said.
“I’m such a lucky guy. Honestly, how beautiful. I’m so excited.”
A Birthday Filled With Family Love
Peter was showered with affection by his wife Emily Andre, 35, and his daughter Princess Andre, who both shared heartfelt tributes.
Posting a collection of loved-up photos of her husband, Emily wrote:
“Happy birthday to my gorgeous hubby! Thanks for putting up with me for another year. Love you so much.”
Princess also took to Instagram Stories, calling him the “best dad ever”, alongside a sweet photo of the pair.
A Big, Blended Family
Peter is father to Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, whom he shares with ex-wife Katie Price, as well as Amelia, 12, Theo, nine, and Arabella, 20 months, with Emily.
The birthday celebrations offered a rare glimpse of unity and warmth within the blended family — a contrast to the very public tensions of the past.
Princess Opens Up About Family Fallout
The birthday comes amid renewed attention surrounding Princess’s ITV2 reality series The Princess Diaries, which recently returned for a second season.
Despite being ITV2’s biggest launch of 2025 outside of Love Island and Big Brother, the show was overshadowed by backlash and family drama.
In the opening episode of the new series, Princess candidly admitted that conflict between her parents had deeply affected her.
“It was difficult to deal with,” she said.
“It caused so much family drama. It really upset me.”
She added:
“I was so excited for the show to come out. I still got amazing support, but it ruined it for me that it was causing arguments. I felt like it was all my fault.”
Why Peter and Emily Stepped Back
Following criticism from Katie, Peter and Emily made the decision to step away from future seasons of the show.
Sources told Daily Mail that the choice was made after family discussions, with the aim of protecting Princess from being caught between her parents.
“Pete and Emily won’t feature in seasons two and three,” an insider revealed.
“They decided it was better for the show to focus on Princess alone.”
The source added that the move was made to reduce tension and allow Princess to stand on her own now that she is 18.
Closing the Door on the Past
Earlier this month, Peter and Katie publicly confirmed that their long-running war of words is over.
The former couple — who married in 2005 after meeting on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and divorced in 2009 — said they are now committed to providing a “calm and supportive environment” for their children.
In a joint statement, they said they have reached a mutual agreement not to speak negatively about each other going forward and hope to move into a new chapter with positivity and respect.
Peter’s Long Silence
Peter has previously spoken about the frustration of staying silent over family matters for more than a decade.
In a 2025 Instagram post, he explained that Junior and Princess lived with him from 2018 for their safety, following legally binding family court decisions — something he had never publicly shared out of respect for his children.
Now, with tensions easing and milestones like birthdays bringing everyone together, Peter appears focused on gratitude, family, and moving forward.
And as he marked his 53rd year surrounded by love, one thing was clear: this birthday wasn’t just about cake and presents — it was about peace.
